Shopping at the Peoples Market
You’re invited to the People’s Market at the Sunrise Center in the heart of Rockwood!
This new weekly market will offer fresh vegetables and fruits grown by farmers who represent the many cultures in our community, at a convenient location in the heart of Rockwood. The People’s Market welcomes shoppers with SNAP, Double-Up Bucks, cash or debit/credit cards.
In addition, each week Wallace will offer $25 coupons for the market to the first 50 patients who reply “yes” to our invitation text message. Coupons are first-come, first-served so reply quickly!

FAQ on the Farmers Market Program
When is the market open?
Every Thursday evening from 4pm – 7pm, beginning June 17 until sometime in the fall.
Where is the market?
The Sunrise Center, 18901 E. Burnside Street (189th and Burnside)
How can I get there?

What will I find at the market?
- You’ll be able to buy fresh produce from more than 15 local growers. In addition, you’ll find vendors offering ready-to-eat foods, as well as arts and crafts.
- Children (and adults!) will enjoy the Kids Corner with fun outdoor games.
- The market’s own DJ will be on hand to provide entertainment and make special announcements.
What are my payment options at the market?
Collect tokens when you arrive, using your choice of SNAP (Oregon Trail cards), Wallace coupon, or cash.
How can I get a $25 coupon to the market from Wallace?
Check your phone for our invitation text. Wallace will text you with the information you need to receive your coupon.
Will I need to wear a mask at the market?
May I save tokens I don’t spend for another visit?
Yes. If you don’t use all of your tokens, keep them safe and bring them back another week.
