/in News/by Michelle LagosThis week, from May 6th to May 12th, we are proud to celebrate Nurses Week— a time to recognize the extraordinary compassion, dedication, and care that nurses bring to our patients and to our community every single day.
Please join us in honoring our exceptional nursing team:

At Wallace, we know that nursing is more than a job—it’s a calling. Our nurses serve on the front lines of patient care, often providing comfort in moments of uncertainty, answering questions with patience, and ensuring that every individual is treated with dignity and respect.
In a world where healthcare can be overwhelming and access is often limited, our nurses are a steady, compassionate presence. They advocate for those who need a voice, educate with clarity, and promote wellness across all walks of life. Whether managing chronic conditions, supporting families, or coordinating care across our integrated teams, they do it with skill, grace, and heart.
This week, let’s take a moment to thank them—not just with words, but with genuine appreciation for the essential role they play in our mission. If you see Ari, Marcela, Jessica, Eric, Mislaydi, or Sheila, we encourage you to share your gratitude. A kind word or gesture goes a long way—and they truly deserve it.
To our nurses: Thank you for your service, your expertise, and your deep commitment to our patients and our community. mywallace.org
