We’re happy to announce that on October 13th, Wallace’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Stuart Currie, joined Oregon’s congressional delegation Senators Wyden and Merkley, and Congressional Representatives Bonamici, Salinas, and Dexter, to speak about the urgent need to protect ACA tax credits.
As a community health center rooted in the Community Health Movement, Wallace is committed to caring for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. Losing these tax credits would increase the number of uninsured patients, strain emergency departments, and deepen financial pressure on community clinics across Oregon and nationally.
