You’re Invited to our Back-To-School Health Fair

Join us for our Back-to-School Health Fair on Thursday, August 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rockwood Market Hall and Plaza for a day of health services, community resources, give-away items, food and fun.
This free community event will be hosted by Wallace, Multnomah County Community Health Center, and East County Community Health. Free resources and activities will include:
- Sports physicals on the Wallace mobile medical clinic
- Fluoride varnishes and other dental resources for kids on the Multnomah County mobile medical clinic
- Haircuts
- Books for all ages, in a variety of languages
- Health insurance enrollment assistance
- Farm produce stand
- Health services resources (access to medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy and more)
- Safe routes to school information
- Face painting, games, selfie station, music and DJ
- Lunch in the Downtown Rockwood Market Hall
- Prizes, featuring school-related supplies
- Information and connection to community services including after school, youth and cultural programs, employment, job training and housing support
The Back-to-School Health Fair is part of the National Association of Community Health Center’s (NACHC) National Health Center Week celebration, a nationwide effort to underscore the many ways that health centers serve their communities.
